I wonder if the disappearing sd card has to do with the hardware? I have had no problems at all from either of my 6700's or my Treo 700WX... *Knocks on wood* Still waiting for my store to get the SanDisk 6GB microSDHC in warehouse...

not really... the iphone is a superior machine via it's hardware. it has a better screen, better processor and lots of internal memory. We'll likely beat the iphone in internal memory but the other failings are impossible to match right now.

One thing that bothers me about the Mogul is that it's not really that much more powerful then the apache. I expected it to at least be twice as powerful. Moore's law being what it is we should have 800mhz phones now.

Another thing I've never quite understood is why the keys are always so poorly laid out for gaming. I know, most people that buy these things aren't buying them to play games, but doing so doesn't hurt anyone and just makes the product that much more awesome.

Already the unit can play SNES games without problems. Once it starts going around that your phone in addition to everything else has a huge liberary of great old games on it it makes the product a million times more desirable.

True! I have NES, SNES, Game Gear, and PS1 on my phone... Button mapping is the hardest part(at least with PS1)...

There are apps and hardware additions you can buy to make for a more enjoyable gaming experience on the 6700. Check this thread out .> http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...le-6700-a.html

Also in the same thread I think they discuss the issue with simultaneous button presses not working. I think there's a link to a .cab file that fixes that.

True the iphone is a more superior and stylish phone in terms of hardware, but it's almost like a waste. No third party programs, no SDIO, no ability to remove/replace the battery. I wouldn't trade my 6700 for an iphone.

If you get it working or not please post what brand of card you are using, by experience with previous devices I have found out that after upgrading drivers not all brands of SDHC cards behave the same. Also please state, if you know if your card is class 4 or 6.

After reading this thread, I'm planning to buy a new microSDHC 4GB card for my Apache, probably a Kingston one.

Now I'm not sure which class I should get. (2/4/6)

It seems that Class 2 and 4 have been reported to work.
Can anyone tell me if they got Class 6 to work with their device?

I use a 4g SDHC with my mogul and it works fine, no problems at all.

Yes we're aware the mogul supports SDHC right out of the box, but the Apache (6700) doesn't support SDHC cards out of the box. This is a new feature to us and it allows our device to continue competing with newer devices ;) I seriously hope that all future roms have these files already in there that way we don't have to bother with the cab.

With all these advancements...it's almost like why bother upgrading to a new handset heh. Although the Vogue (HTC Touch) is mighty sexy....
