I seem to have been really lucky with this... I have not had any problems with this. It even works on my Treo 700WX and my new Samsung i760...

no corruption here (with my phone anyway). Have had it occasionally drop the card though.

Can't wait to hear results with 6gb sdhc card!

So for the record, and to attemp reloving these issues, let's all post card specs and format options...

Mine:
Sandisk 2gig microSD in a miniSD adapter.

No problems with disappearing card prior to installing the sdhd cab.

Running Helmis' wm6 on my apache.

Sector size: 512 bytes
Sector per cluster: 64
Cluster size: 32768 bytes
Backup copy of FAT table: + (yes)
Usable clusters: 61980


p.s. it seems wm5storage may have a sdhd problem as wm6 mogul users (sdhd native) have not gotten it to work - that sucks as far as I'm concerned.

Mine is a 4gb Q minisd. Just removed sdhc cab. Just been a few hours, so far card has not been dropped. Will post if/when it does....

we need to see if 6 or 8Gb cards are working with this (I don't know if 8gb cards are even out.)


4GB cards worked prior to all of this in in WM5. It took some fussing with format and for best results you had to partition the card. But ultimately it worked. We need to see if 6Gb cards work. That's really what this is all about.
