Regarding the SD card delay in sounds.

Don't know if you've tried out the new WM6 kitchen, but something changed.
I created a rom using the new kitchen, and now if I go to "Sounds & Noticfications" or phone options, there is no delay. It works the same w/ or w/o the sd card insterted, and I actually have a lot more music than I did before when having that issue.

I'm not sure what settings are different, but I'm sure you're more capable of figuring it out.

Just thought you may want to know.

FYI - I can confirm that the following Big_J OEM's work great in the WM6 kitchen;
Optional_J_IM+_v442(8-3-07)
Optional_J_Memmaid_v2(7-15-07)
Optional_J_SafeMode_v21(6-15-07)
Optional_J_Texas_Holdem_v416(6-15-07)

i'm repeatedly getting the same problem of my phone hanging at the boot screen after a soft reset. i've tried to troubleshoot and find out what may be causing this, since most everyone else seems to report great stability, but no such luck.

i can't pin point exactly what might be causing the hang. i've tried recreating certain situations, and the issue won't re-occur. i've moved through simple steps when setting my phone up to try to isolate it, and when i think i have it isolated, i'll avoid that action, but will experience the hang after a soft reset yet again.

i've experienced it when using only what it is offered with the kitchen, and when installing other applications. i've also experienced the issue when flashing only the standard verizon rom.

i downloaded the kitchen and cooked my own rom using the tools in the folder. is that even the correct terminology? i've only started using the site since around september.

i'm getting real frustrated here. i've probably flashed my phone about 30 times in the past month trying to get it to operate with some stability, but no luck. i've gotten my phone just the way i want it a handful of times, but then i get the dreadful hang seemingly out of nowhere.

apache

if any other information that may be needed to get some help, please let me know. if need be, i'll provide a step by step of my process.

thanks in advance.

Big J,

I have always used your versions of ROMs because I found them to be the most stable. in fact, I haven't found the need to move from the one that's shown in my sig. lol.
so I'm anxious to get your opinion. Have you used the latest WM6 kitchen yet? What do you think of it ?

No. It's only for the Apache (6700).
