After that you run the flash utility for the ROM you want to install. And then you hard-reset.
I don't think there's any kind of commands for the bootloader.

Ok, updating to the latest "Official" ROM was perfectly OK. But when I now try to do the same procedure to go to WM6, it gets stuck at the stage where it says "Checking the information on your device... Please wait..." It sits there for about two minutes, and then ends up with "Error 201: Cannot get data from device".
Anyone experienced anything like this? I mean, this is just bootloader, I don't see what difference it would make whether we are doing one or the other ROM, right? |

Depends... what bootloader version is on your device? It appears on the bootloader screen at the very bottom.
Try running the upgrade without putting the phone in bootloader (i.e. let it boot into Windows and then plug it in, let activesync detect it, etc. Then run the upgrade.) Also make sure you're cabled directly to a USB port on your PC (no cradle or USB hub in the chain), and that you're running windows xp. Reboot both phone and PC... just a few general suggestions. |

go to the chat room and look for luv, iirc he knows how to get you back to 2.02. 2.04 stops us from flashing roms using the old method, so you have to have <2.04 to get wm6 at the moment.
