i love windows mobile 6
if i had to say anything about this rom it is the best work i have ever seen. i would wreally like to see just windows mobile 6 with nothing on just plain wm6 with verizon brand and call it a day just to see how wm6 runs by it's self.

Everything is pretty snazy, my biggest pet peeve is the dialpad, its so fugly@! and i have no idea how to get the stock wm6 one on there haha.
Resco is always a plus but i must say that the new "stock" file manager kicks butt. I dunno, seems pretty minimal to me, but nice all the same.

This worked, thanks. The only issue is it appears to be missing the icon for back (the button at the top right of the buttons). It looks like it's supposed to be there, but all I see is a white blank space. Is there any way to fix this?

My only quibble with this ROM is the redundancy of multiple browsers, etc., taking up space. But I do have to admit that I have given Deepfish another chance after chalking it up to little more than a demo when I first rushed to sign up and install it. I still wouldn't put it in a stock ROM, since I still prefer Opera Mobile as an alternative browser, and I know many others do too.
Another vote for the Pocket Sand game. It finally got my son and goddaughter playing something on my phone other than StarPop and is fun for me, too. Crosswords is good. Kevtris was nice, as was the Rubik cube game. Thumbs up on the HTC Home plug-in, though I'd almost think the Customizer should go hand-in-hand with it. It does well what I had three plug-ins doing just slightly better, though the clock is too big. Audio Manager is one I had installed on AKU 3.5 and still like. PIM Backup and Pocket RAR are nice to have, too. The TCPMP was a nice touch, but I know it's causing problems for some. Adobe Reader Lite kept me from installing a freeware reader. I could live without Yahoo! Go, for sure. No interest in DopeWars. I've got three or four registered games with sudoku and I didn't think the Pocket Sudoku was all that good. I run PHMRegEdit and installed that before I even noticed the Resco programs, but I'm used to PHM anyway. Would definitely like Touch FLO if we can get it. And the PCMKeyboard is a MUST! I think the only other piece of freeware I'm running that wasn't included is the Sun-Moon plug-in, which I know not everyone wants. And I would like the voice command to be installed and running properly for everyone. As it is, once everything's more stable and there's a kitchen, I'll probably make the above adjustments myself. In the meantime, no real complaints and lots of improvement. Excellent work! |

Phone dialer was a disaster
I don't know if anyone else had a problem with the phone dialer but it would not work with my XV6700 after the flash and I could not identify any software conflicts with installs and uninstalls of PiePlus, iLauncher, SKTools, Pocket Mechanic, PocketHackMaster, amongst others. The keypad would not come up and would only lock up the phone so it was possible only to dial out contacts that had been already entered. Even then it was necessary to tap touch the screen to get the dialer to complete the call. What saved me was the ETEN Phone dialer (free) and it supposedly has some nice skins which I have not tried (http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm). Since installing the ETEN I have had absolutely no problems with the phone which works flawlessly with MS Voice Command 1.6 even through my Bluetooth Motorola HS 850. The ETEN dialer is nicer anyway with larger keys and better looking interface. Would recommend it to anyone with dialer problems before they try the hard reset routine.
