Streaming Radio

I have tried several times to stream radio to my Sprint Apache. I have not been successful with the files like http://cbsplayer.streamtheworld.com/...ALLSIGN=WFANAM. I have tried pasting the link into several programs including IE, Netfront browser, or the Player application. However, I have been successful by going to http://www.pdatuner.com/free for the list of radio stations. Then if go to the web site for each of those stations, for instance http://www.kusc.org/php/index.php and then paste the link there (http://www.kusc.org/streams.kusc96.asx) to the player. It works fine. I can then add this link to my playlist and just bring up the station when ever I want. I know that Rosco Radio is an application I could buy but is it any more that just a list of links to the types of stations that already work by performing the above actions?

This is definitely very cool. Who needs an FM transmitter when you've got EVDO :P ?

Have you tried www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ ? It has tons of stations all over the US. Lots of them are live. Worth checking out, it works great on my Apache.

I use shoutcast streaming radio on my apache, they have a ton of stations @ shoutcast.com. Works great with TCPMP takes maybe all of 5 seconds to connect.

I use Resco Pocket Radio, and love it. Tons of stations, and they keep the station list relatively up to date, so you don't get dead links.
