area code dialing

is there a way to change the default area code?

so i can dial XXX-XXXX (without the entering the area code)

even when adding new contacts
the area code comes up as (425)

im not sure where that is , and doubt i will ever be there.
so i would like to change it to my area code

thanks for any help.

yes you can change the default area code if you go into contacts, then select Menu then Options. There you can change your aread code.

Thumbs down

however, so far you will still have to dial the area code manually with numbers that are not in your contacts.

Smart Dialing - Where are you?!?
