I'm using it and finding it more stable than WM5 was on my 6700. I had enough memory after upgrading that I was able to isntall all my apps to device instead of storage card, which also helped cut down on lock ups, etc... I'm loving it,even if it is only a test release, it rocks!

I really want to do it, but am going to hold off for a little bit.
I'm real interested in knowing if all WM5 software will work with it.
Seems a lot of developers don't show downloads for WM6.

Mms

Does the MMS work on this ROM out of the box? I know the setup to get it to work with Verizon could get complicated with having to add registry strings and have special connections. If so, It would be worth the switch now for me!

Which software in particular?

couple little things

I've been running it for a couple weeks and like it. it's got a couple little things - like i can't get my mms to work and my post in the main WM6 thread got buried, too. but - my stereo bluetooth headset is working just fine. if anyone has any tips on the mms set up (i've played with it and done multiple searches looking for answers, but so far, nuttin' honey.

Also, in the latest build, Wireless LAN (802.11) is broken if you're trying to connect to WPA secured networks.

Also, they've removed Voice Dial / Voice tags. For those who haven't bought Voice Command, this really gives us NO option. Bummer.

what is MMS? I've heard a lot about that and have no clue what that even means... I'll google it in a minute but it's not a feature I think I've used.

what the heck is mms?

MMS is the abbreviation for Multimedia Message Service. It's a transmission service that allows graphic, video, and sound files to be send via WAP. In other words, it's the way we send pix and flix as Verizon so quaintly puts it. But back to my original question - Does anyone know how to get MMS (pix and flix) up and running?!?!?!?!?!
