how do I backup/restore my OEM ROM?

ok. first.. I tried to search for this answer, but everytime I tried to search t would only see the first word of my search query and tell me my search needed to be at least 4 words...

I want to try out Helmi's WM6 isntall on my 6700, but want to be able to restore it to OEM state if need be, how do I do this? is there a generic verison ROM I can download for WM5 ? or do I have to backup my ROM somehow?

thanx in advance.

Not a problem. If you ever want to go back to your OEM ROM go to: http://www.utstar.com/pcd/uts_downloads.aspx?rErr=1 select PPC6700 (or XV6700 if you're on Verizon) and then select your carrier. If your carrier isn't on the list (most are) you can get it directly from them by going to their respective websites. This will bring things back to an OEM/STOCK/FACTORY fresh image.
