really need help

i tried to use sktools to backup my device, but while it was backing up it ran out of memory, so now my phone will do NOTHING. any way to boot into safe mode or something, i would rather not do a hard reset.

Describe 'nothing'. Will it power on? What color are the LEDs blinking? Any error msg? ect...

I've had a few issues and wondered if there was a safe mode in WM6? would be really helpful to know, searching turns up NOTHING...
