I'm gonna wait for the goose, but I'll be watching all those posts by the first wave of flashers to see how fantastic the new OS is! |

I actually like this idea. Knowing myself, I'd load it up with a bunch of crap with a kitchen, and not know what I broke, or what was truly broke. This way, all the problems are going to be the same between most users, and not caused by a bad OEM etc. In the end making a way better Kitchen.

A kitchen is the name for the files that allow a user to create there own ROM. The ROM is what essentially is the OS. So in getting a ROM, you are able to flash and get WM6, if it were a Kitchen you would be able to add your own OEMs (other programs) to the ROM before flashing.

If we flash with this WM6 ROM, will we lose all the ROMs installed from a previous kitchen, or will this just update the OS?

Think about it like this....
You are updating your operating system on your PPC (like you would if you updated your computer from XP to Vista). The thing with the PPC is that it has some programs built into the operating system. After you have updated your operating system, then you can add additional programs as you like. Hope that makes it easier to understand..... |

If you want to go back to the custom ROM you built with a kitchen, just run the kitchen upgrade utility.
