input mode change very slow

When I click the popup to change the input method, it takes about 10 seconds for the popup list to appear. After a hard reset it appears almost immediately. What would cause this slow-down? I don't have anything installed that adjusts input mode.

ur talking about the on screen kb option menu?

correct--KB, block recognizer, etc

hmmm first for me here but have u given the no menu animation hack a try? if not try that and if that no worky let me know....also u talking about the menu popping up or the actual change from kb to transcribe and what not....

actual menu popping up--takes 10 seconds from when I click on the triangle to when it pops up. The actual mode change is fine.

try diable the menu animation then and see how that works for ya.

will try but don't think it will work--there's not really any animation there
