Sure it's got a beautiful, small profile - and an excellent interface. But it's underpowered, with a 200 mhz processor. So it won't be able to adequately run the more powerful programs, and everything else will be slower.
I guess if you're not a power user, the Touch would be a good option.

The GSM version of the touch has the 200mhz processor, but the CDMA version (for sprint) has a 400mhz processor. Or so says most of the tech blog sites that have done some investigating into the upcoming release of the touch. I'm considering investing in one myself. There again I've also heard that the interface is going to be bogged down with a lot of Sprint's apps and what not, but I think there's someone who has found a way to get around that and edit it.
