Question Mogul or 755p?

I have a 6700 and will be adding either 755p to my other line or upgrading my a900 to mogul. my friend has a new 755p and is offerring to sell it for 200 dollars. Should i pay the 400 for mogul or just go with the 755p? Next help asap.

I've seen you post that about the Touch a couple times, and to tell you the truth I was underwhelmed when I researched it.

Sure it's got a beautiful, small profile - and an excellent interface. But it's underpowered, with a 200 mhz processor. So it won't be able to adequately run the more powerful programs, and everything else will be slower.

I guess if you're not a power user, the Touch would be a good option.

The GSM version of the touch has the 200mhz processor, but the CDMA version (for sprint) has a 400mhz processor. Or so says most of the tech blog sites that have done some investigating into the upcoming release of the touch. I'm considering investing in one myself. There again I've also heard that the interface is going to be bogged down with a lot of Sprint's apps and what not, but I think there's someone who has found a way to get around that and edit it.

CDMA Touch is a 400MHz OMAP with 128MB of RAM.

The only downside (so far anyway) is the lack of Hardware KB. A dealbreaker for some people, but others never wanted one anyway.

Yeah I have to admit it's nice to have a slide out keyboard even though it adds to the bulk of my phone, but there again I've seen some great on screen keyboards that work extremely well. I'll take it for a test drive at the store when it comes out, if I don't like it within the first five minutes it probably won't grow on me...

Well if you want advice on the 755p you ought to look at treocentral.com or other treo/palm boards. The 755p doesn't run Windows so you're not going to find (m)any fans of it here.

Similarly, if you want to read opinions on the 6800, you should go to the Titan board here instead of Apache. Titan is the code name of the 6800.

My personal opinion is that the 6800 stinks. The hardware is fine but the ROMs its using are in no way streamlined. There are lots of little bugs, as is normal with brand-new devices running a brand-new OS. With time and some ROM updates the 6800 should be pretty good. But not now, IMHO.
