Something similar to PhoneAlarm Lite?

I posted this in the software thread, but it didn't get much response. I'm hoping my brothers and sisters in Apache-dom might be able to help me out.

Is there a freeware or shareware tool similar to PhoneAlarm Lite that provides an email, SMS, and voicemail bar on the Today Screen for PPC6700? I like that functionality but I don't want to pay $20 for it. I know the HTC today plugin has it too, but the whole thing takes up way too much room on the screen, on which I have iLauncher and the TodayAgenda plugins.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Spring or Verizon???

If you are a Verizon customer you can use the Wireless Sync software which comes with a today screen app. It shows emails, missed calls ect.... it is free if you download the software.

I prefer PhoneAlarm though as you can download many different skins.
