Just for the interested rom guys. WM6 Is on the X50V

Ya they just got it working on the device. I already have the Unofficial A03 (auk 3.5.2) and it works pretty much flawless so I shall give this a shot when I get home.

Supposidly it also gives it SDHC support which I shall also test when I get it setup.

Not bad for a device that Dell pretty much dropped and it looked like nothing good was coming for it. Then bamn. A Great Auk 3.5.2 update and now WM06.

A few wifi bugs are all that seams to be on there atm. Not too bad.

Common guys. WM06 for the Apache shouldnt be that hard with all the hacking we have done lately lol.

J/K but still it is awesome that such a device is finally getting the software that it deserves and it still outperforms almsot all devices released today.

Yeah I was kind of in awe of the x50v being able to run wm6. Just imagine if/when someone manages to port it to the apache, it'll the rom will spread across the net like wildfire! Till then I'll just have to suffice with what's out there now. Although sprint's planning on releasing the HTC Touch this fall, so I might just splurge for a new device.

And i can also confirm SDHC support. I have a sandisk 4gb card that doesnt work on anything but my pc and this wm6 x50v. The auk 3.5.2 rom didnt.

It works very nicely on my X50v except for wireless. That has been a problem so far.

After playing with it for a day or so, the filesys.exe issue came back. That was the only main problem that was a deal breaker for me.

Im back on the WM5 Auk 3.5.2 rom (A03) that maglite made not too long ago. It seams to have the Filesys problem kept to a limit compaired to this.

Maby I missed something so i might go try it again later this weekend. It is a nice upgrade but if its going to run as slow as it did with A01, i might just wait for another AUK update and maglite to do his magic.
