Help with text size in Gmail Java App

hey all. I noticed that since upgrading from original kitchen rom to latest 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 etc that the GMail Java app does not format correctly under the Intent Java Midlet Manager. Even if I have the "use smaller texts" setting, the font is still jumbo sized.

Is anyone else having the same issue? Is there any way to resolve this?

Yeah, I second this question. I've seen the Intent Java Midlet manager with the reduced font size, but I can't seem to find how this font size is changed/set.

also experienced this problem. I thought it was because i had cleartype and extra big font selected in my screen settings, just uninstalled it and didnt think twice about it. I guess that isnt the case.

I tried all the non-registry settings like clear type, system font size, etc. and nothing seemed to have any effect. My dad is still on stock rom (is it 2.2? don't even remember anymore) with main memory installation and his is perfectly normal and readable...

I wonder if it has something to do with a file that is locked in the rom that can't be changed...
