Well you can start by going to Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications -> and in the Event drop down choose -> Phone: Voice Mail. Here you can make is make a sound, display notification on screen, flash light and vibe.

Also, when you built the rom, did you check the box in BuildOS for Verizon ext rom? And if so, did you allow the carrier customizations to run after the post-flash hard reset? i.e. soft reset when the Customizing in 3 Seconds box pops up? Also, what steps did you take when you were talking to the VZW CSR?

Oh and yes I already checked the sounds and notification settings, and I used the Verizon ext rom. Before you ask...No I did not let the Verizon cabs install after loading the new rom, I soft reset when it said "customizing in 3 seconds"

Still waiting on a response from my last post...
I read in your first post that it said that your sms works, but it this something that you have verified? Not just texts to and from VZW customers, but also other carriers? I know this seems like a strange question, but as I understand it, the vmail notifications are actually sent to the phone via sms with special headers. |
