Touchscreen dead!!! KILL ME NOW!

well my phone is gone, the touchscreen stopped working. Well the center portion stopped working, so I can't even align the screen.

Anyone have any 6700's they aren't using? or something...

My touch capability went when I stupidly used a coat hangar?! to reset. About two months later my usb port broke off inside. Found a 6700 with a busted screen on eBay and merged it's guts with my screen/keyboard and now it works 100%

If you're handy maybe you could find a busted one.

Ok, the phone is 100% disasembled!





So far I dont see any damage anywhere to make the TS stop working... So I think its the TS period thats broken![/list]

lol TS is broken now! I think I just need to find a parts phone and replace the screen, I'm scared now!

Ok, if you ever have a ts issue and want to replace it, just replace the entire screen with a working one... SCREW REPLACING THE TS!

I wouldn't recomend changing just the touch sesor on the screen, it's attached to the LCD pretty damn well.

After I sent the money using moneybookers.com (seemed sketchy but i've not had any problems, no stolen money or ID) The brand new screen arrived within 5 days - Amazon.com can't get you spit as fast as this guy in China!!!

I'll keep that one in mind.. There's someone on ebay selling some parts from a Sprint phone... I am trying to see how much he'll sell atleast just the screen with TS for.
