I'm on Kirvins C&S 3.5...
mine only syncs when it needs to, but instead of it syncing once and then finishing.. it syncs a few times in a row.. like it'll start syncing and act like it's done.. then sync again and then act like its done.. then sync again.. 2-3 times in a row each time it syncs then it'll stop until the next time it needs to.. which again does it multiple times.. |

Mine does it as well... it doesn't bother me though I like to get corporate email as soon as possible. What upsets me is that it is set to get email as soon as it arrives and sometimes I'll get an email in outlook and it wont show on my phone for a while. This drives me nuts because I don't want to have anything important sit for a while, other times its on my phone before outlook gets it. I wish AS would sync as soon as it gets notice from the exchange server AND sync every five mins just in case. The signal sucks in my area and i don't think the phone gets the notice from the exchange server that there is new email.
In the drop box under the scheduling there is "As items arrive" and "Every 5 mins". Is there a way to get AS to sync every 1 min. If it was on this schedule I would imagine that it would also re-initiate the data connection if it is dropped which happens a lot in my area. Seems like the direct push just isn't robust enough in areas that have poor signal. |
