Popular software (utilities) for XV6700?

I got PDAJ's wm6.1 image.

a friend told me to use Opera as my browser, and some program that makes the clock big? and htc glide, or something like that?

What are some useful utilities for the xv6700?

Use sites like FreewarePPC and stuff. Don't use Opera, it costs something like $20 and doesn't even support flash. Use Skyfire, it's free and is as close to desktop browsing as you can get. As for the clock, it's HTC Home. Also S2U2 is useful.

What about ram issues, skyfire eats up my ram, i always get out of memory errors before I can use it for something fun.. like flash video etc..

Really? Skyfire has never givven RAM issues, even on my Mogul. You need to close programs you're not using too though, most people when they're new to PPCs have too many things open...

If you're having memory issues, you might want to try SKTools or MemMaid. They're clean up utilities that will get rid of excess file accumulation. Those will eat up memory. As for finger tip scrolling, look @ SPB Pocket Plus

SPB Pocket Plus costs money and only works in certain apps. Use FTouchFlo, here is also my personal config file for it. Just install the cab and then replace the config file in \Program Files\FTouchFlo with mine, it will help it.
