Re: 6700 for $50??

$50 bucks for a 6700 is a great deal. It has less problems than the Mogul. If the 6700 had GPS built in, I would go back to mine a heart beat. The keyboard is great, battery life is pretty nice, and there are still many custom ROMS for it.

Re: 6700 for $50??

I loved my 67 and think 50 is good also. It is a good and hard phone to kill. I think it is a great starter phone for learning PPCs if you are new to them. And its a cheap way to get into a TP later on.

Re: 6700 for $50??

thanks guys. I actually talked him down to $40! So looks like I'll be joining the 6700 crowd for a bit. I am pretty versed in ppc's as I've had my Diamond for a while now. I'll swap the esn online tonight and run with the 6700 for a while. To bad I can't run both at the same time, that'd be sweet!

Re: 6700 for $50??

So I got this thing up and running. When I activated it I noticed in the ESPT menu that this phone has less than 3 hours talk time!! Pretty sweet phone for $40.

It's actually my 3rd. I bought it as a back up to my Diamond. But I really like the keyboard so I'm gonna use it a while.

Cool Re: 6700 for $50??

When my wife was angry one day she threw the phone against the concrete and after that it was still working just the frame was damage.

I guess this is a great phone. I had about 3 of them. The only thing I did not like was the stylus gets lost quick but you can fix it by bending it or placing some clear tape around the stylus but there are some other 6700 that have a stylus with a spring loaded lock on the side of the stylus. Another thing is when you drop the 6700 be on the look out because your memory card will fly.

Just hit the thanks button if this helps.
