Bangin my head on the wall

I have apache that I moved a esn to from my other sprint phone some time ago (thanks to some help of the stellar people here) and I just purchased the $15 a month vision plan from sprint and have been having a shot at getting it to work on the apache and not having much luck. The vision plan works fine on my other phone. I called a sprint rep and explained the situation and he said it was not possible. Is this true? Any suggestions

I was surprised at how cool the sprint rep was about the two phones on one esn though.

damn thats nuts.. maybe that rep didnt realize its illegal..
but he is wrong though...
you can get vision working just not at ev-do speeds i got it working by forcing phone into 1xrtt all the time.

But if you want the evdo, switch your apache back to its original esn. Call sprint and tell them to swap your account to the apache esn. Then use the apache esn on your other phone. that should work...

realize that any time you talk to a rep and give them your account info they are supposed to log the conversation details. If they catch this they can close your account for breach of contract. They also can charge the full $200 early termination. Not to mension they can hit you with fraud charges. In short. Pleeease watch it.

Kinda off topic, but if you clone your ESN do both phones ring at the same time. IE can they both be on, or is it you have to power one off and the other back on?

why is cloneing your own phone illegal...

i mean.. cloneing someone elses esn, very bad.

but your own?

maybe you want multiple phones.. in your house.. so you never miss a call... lol

sweet..

You should not have both phones on at one time as it will cause you to be droped by your provider. Thanks for the warnings and if you need general sprint info call mom and pop cell stores that sell sprint and other brands they are sometimes helpfull.

Sprint can easily tell if you have both phones on at the same time because the CDMA radios are always replying back to "pings" from the network. Getting two different replies (sometimes from different towers) to one ping is not a good thing.

Seriously guys, don't be careless about this kind of thing. It could get you in a lot of trouble.
