No you don't need to be in a certain area to go into EPST. Try ##778# and if that doesn't work try ##778 Talk button.

Yeah, use MIN2 as the "area code" so to speak, then the MIN1 as the "phone number".
If those dont work then just use your 10 digit phone number.

On a side note: Have you used *228 to program your phone yet?

Yeah, isn't that what you have to dial to program your phone after having it flashed? yeah I did that when I first got the phone flashed to cricket.

Yeah, it makes a few adjustments in the EPST to make your phone compatible with your carrier. Because your MIN is 5555555 it makes me think that maybe dialing *228 again might change this. Try it and let me know what it says. Also, the mycricket.com website has alot of good information about programming your phone (surprisingly) so you should probably check it out as well.
Dial the *228 and check your MIN and let me know if anything changes.
If nothing changes then your MIN for your MMS should probably be your phone number (according to the mycricket site).

I have a custom cricket rom AKU3.5 that i released out the other day. Everything for you is set up automatically all you need to do is set you're MIP to SIP and load your PRL for cricket. Once thats done all you will have to do is click on internet explorer it will ask you for your username and settings.
Username: tendigitphone#@mycricket.com
Password: cricket

after that you will be able to log on and send picture messaging without modifying any settings.

Next release will be in the next day or two.[/img]

@amoamare - Did you use the ROM kitchen and my cricket OEM to make your ROM? If so (or even if not) I would really appreciate it if you could test the OEM as set up to make sure that it works correctly on Cricket's network--not only the WAP proxy stuff but also the arcsoft MMS configuration as well.

I spent a really long time making that OEM so I would like to get it working for Cricket users who want to make their own ROMs as opposed to using one someone else built.

Thanks
