HELP! Phantom email account is screwing up mail counter!

OK..here is my problem...I installed AKU 3.5 on my ppc-6700..WORKS GREAT!....BUT.....I screwed up somehow during the set up on my email accounts. Instead of naming my email account during set up, I left the name "Other (POP3/IMAP)" as it showed on the screen. After plugging in my email account info, it downloaded my messages.....BUT....it shows I have 71 messages to read...BUT...I CANNOT open the window & view them!

I re-installed my email info again, but THIS time named the account "Comcast"....THAT email works fine....Send, receive, everything works great....BUT....the "Other (POP3/IMAP)" account STILL shows there are 71 messages to read & I still cannot get to the account.

In fact, The "Other (POP3/IMAP)" account doesn’t even show up in my list of email accounts; so I cant even erase it!

HELP!! Any ideas??

If all else fails, a hard reset will do the trick. Try deleting all the registry keys that reference that account first.
