Move telephone number to new xv6700

I've had my 6700 for almost 4 years. It's beat up and some buttons do not work. I bought a slightly used one off of ebay that is in great shape. How do I transfer my number off my old phone to the new phone?

Call Verizon and do an ESN Swap. Should be easy.

Just don't call on your ppc as you may need to remove the battery to find your ESN, etc. if you don't have the original box with that info.

You can also do it online after looging into your account. Once logged in click on "GO" which is next to the picture of your device on your account and then Activate Phone. This way you do not have to call in but either one is simple.
