XV6700 WIll I StiLL HaVe MY SETTings & service after upgrade

I have a xv6700 flashed to metro pcs with internet and mms and everything is working fine i just have windows moble 5 but i want windows moble 6 if i upgrade my phone will this effect my metro pcs settings/???????? and what is the best rom to upgrade because theres many??????

core settings should stay, like network settings, anything you set up after you got the phone will be wiped. as far as roms... ppckitchen, has us cellular carrier option, you might want to give it a shot and cook your own www.ppckitchen.org
