Tethering How-To for the 6700

Can anyone direct me to a post someone has done on tethering the 6700? If not it might be a great Wiki someone could post. If i can get some basic instructions that would be great. I am running Helmi Official AKU 3.5 Kitchen, Release 1.0.2 (running great!). I do have internet sharing installed but feel a little clueless as to what to do. All i did was plug it into a laptop that did not have activesync installed (is activesync required?). Thanks!

Kevin

Active sync isn't required. ( I don't think - I keep mine disabled and it works fine)

It's all about the sequence, first you enable internet sharing on your 6700 (in USB mode it sounds like), then you plug it in to your PC. Once plugged in you should notice a new network icon appear on the task tray, once it has an IP you are good to go.

Side note: it definitely isnt the quickest connection in the world here in my house but is still quite impressive.
