WM5 POP3 Client deletes server email

Greetings,

Perhaps this is the wrong channel for this, but I know there are some brains in here.

I have a client who uses a Blackjack (I've duplicated the problem on my 6700.) The problem is this: When he deletes a mail message on the phone, the next time he does a send/recieve, the message is deleted from the POP server as well. As far as I know, this is not possible. The WM5 POP3 client is a passive "Read Only" transaction as far as the server is concerned. There are no settings that I can find to tell the POP3 client on the phone to leave the messages on the server. This is not ActiveSync or Wireless Sync or IMAP. Just the standard POP3. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Thank you in advance for your time and wisdom.

Doug
