my ppc-6700 has the wrong number programmed

i have been tryin to figure this out for awhile now, and i have searched this forum for the answer, but ever since i got my phone from sprint its had the wrong number programmed in it. the 1st time i tried callin my voice mail is was setup to call a number 1 off from what my number is. this i fixed without problem, my problem now is that when i send mms messages it shows up as from the wrong number, when i go to settings, phone options, it shows the wrong number on the top line, with my correct number in the voice mail area. anyone know how to change this without a call to sprint and a 30 min wait on hold.......thanks in advance

Send a message via AIM to craigerk
Is your callback number set wrong for the MMS's and SMS's?

only for mms, when i send a regular text message it shows up from the correct number, but when i send a mms message it shows the 1 digit off number, its some how saved in my phone. almost like its the phones ID, and when the mms software loads it takes that info and creates it into the mms info..

Did you make sure your phone is programmed correctly?

Hit ##123456# where 123456 is your MSL. You can then view/edit the nam programming. Your phone # should be there accurately in both fields. If not, there may have been a slight programming error that accounts for the problem.
