Are u using a extended battery?

I just got the 3200mah yesterday. I love it. The extra size and weight is not a problem for me.

I'm glad this topic got renewed, I'm in the market for an extended (2800 or 3200) and all your opinions are valuable. one of the questions I had regarding the 2800 or 3200 is I noticed some of you said it now felt more comfortable in your hand. from time to time I feel like I could use a better "grip", especially when in portrait browsing. my thumb on the joystick being so close to the bottom doesn't provide enough support. is this what you guys are referring to when you say its more comfortable? or better grip while typing?

Yup, this is what i did. Basically im always carrying around some kind of backpack or back or suitcase or etc, so putting some small little battery in that bag aint a problem for me.

I use my extended battery all the time. I use my 6700 as an MP3 player when I leave the house and with the normal battery, it just doesn't last all day when I am using my stereo bluetooth headset. Sure it makes the phone bigger, but it's still tiny compared to other phones i've owned in the past.

i can't imagine going back to a standard battery.

my phone was always dying...

now with a 2800 i just charge at night, and no worries.

the cover on the old sedios sucked...but i ordered a new one this week and it seems better....i hope.

any close up pictures of the back of the 6700 with the 2800 and 3200 batteries? or has anyone come across any reviews comparing each one to one another?

both batteries should look the same from the back.

reviews? one lasts a little longer than the other.

I hold onto the philosophy that what you're not used to you can eventually adapt to. When I first got the 6700 it felt like i was carrying around a brick. Now I whip it out one-handed like it's a flip phone. I'm really in need of more battery life and prefer not having to swap out dead batteries and keeping track of that stuff. I really like the idea of also not having to worry about backlight brightness, that i can over clock to 624 constantly, not have to close programs down. It's a comforting idea with an fat batt.

So for those who own the monster batteries u think it's still concealable on a holster if u have ur shirt over it. I usually carry my phone like that now w/ normal oem batt and it's not visible.

I also carry onto the hope that one day we'll figure out how to use the apache as a standalone gps device and when that day comes those with fatt batts will have an ultimate device
