XV6700 w/Bluetooth drops incoming calls

XV6700 on Verizon
WM6.1 built w/kitchen WM6.1_96DPl_QVGA_20931_0409
Verizon-branded Jabra Bluetooth headset

I can make outgoing calls no problem. But when I receive an incoming call, I can answer the call and begin the call, but after about 10 seconds the call disconnects.

This only happens when using the Bluetooth headset -- without Bluetooth, I can receive calls with no problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

philthegeek

Sounds like the bluetooth stack is messed up. I would hard reset, or reflash if that don't work.

Re: XV6700 w/Bluetooth drops incoming calls

Did a hard reset, still having problems.

I did some more testing, and learned the following: the incoming calls are only dropped if I have an audio adapter plugged into the phone.

When driving, I use an FM transmitter plugged into the headset jack to pipe music through my car stereo, and I use a Bluetooth hands free to make calls.

As I wrote before, calls I originate work just fine.

If I unplug the audio jack, incoming calls work fine, too.

But if I have the audio jack plugged in, and I'm using the Bluetooth hands free, and I receive an incoming call, I can answer the call and speak with the caller for a few seconds, but then my phone drops the call.

Any clues?
