can anyone comment on how the generic version is working on their verizon phone? Does everything seem to be working, i.e. MMS etc..
Thanks for any info

Installed the generic version on my xv, quick and stable, but I wanted the palm threaded sms and some of the vzw customizations, can't comment on MMS as I don't use that. Now I'm running my own custom rom built following jeff's list with as many of his customizations as I could get my hands on

That reminds me, I need to upload some more OEMs... Probably this evening. I need to wipe them of any of my personal info first.

I have hardly ever posted anything here, but I just wanted to say thankyou jeff for deciding to do an updated clean and simple rom. I used your previous one and it was flawless for me. When the new drivers came out and the new kitchen, I decided to use it. It worked out for me pretty nice but it did not have the extra kick that your rom had. When I found out that you uploaded your performance OEM, I added that to my rom and now I could not be happier. My apache works perfectly. I have it loaded out with everything I need, and the performance tweaks give it the speed I need. Thank you once again Jeff!!!

All new OEMs just posted to the FTP. I have one called Optional_JK_Customizations that you'll want if you want a device tuned the way I do, and the rest are either apps I've converted on my own or custom tunings of other OEMs. Of particular interest is my version of the OEM_HTC module, which gives you a completely clean Start Menu and puts all the program shortcuts in Programs where they darn well belong.

BTW, the new OEMizer app is genius for importing CAB files and building your own OEM. Also does about half of what my Customizations OEM does. Definitely a must have.

Jeff, do you by chance have the transcriber for the ppc6700? I was able to get alll the other CABs I needed (like remote desktop). Ths is the very last thing I really need and use often.

The transcriber from the MS site (version 1.51) I think is old and I got a warning prompt tell me its was designed for an older OS. It works sorta ok, but I would much rather have the build that is designed for WM5/6

Your ROM is just amazing, and I really appreciate you answering my questions earlier.

I lost my radio after upgrading... I had to install the 1.41 radio again manually... but it worked and I'm back in business. The HTC home plugin looks incredible! Thanks, Jeff!

Barring unforeseen circumstances, watch this space late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Something's coming.
