OK, so I just want to be sure before I do this.

1. Hard Reset

2. Put it into Bootloader mode

3. Run the exe

And that should be it, right?

I really appreciate the hand holding.

That'll do! Don't forget to hard reset at the end, even though it says you can soft reset.

Hard Reset? Really? I only soft reset after your first ROM and didn't seem to have trouble, but thanks for the note.

edit: Oh do you mean at the end of the ROM Load? If so, yeah, I got that.

Hey, quick question before I flash this. Does this have the needed carrier cabs built in? In other words, should I soft reset when it says '3 seconds to customization' or should I let the customization run.

There are no carrier customizations to run. Everything you need is built into the ROM. This ROM doesn't even have an autorun to stop. The ExtROM partition is blank and ready for you to install stuff as soon as you unlock it.

once the roms unlocked and showing.. how can we go about making it hidden again? I frequently get emails with large attachments and by clicking the "store attachments on storage card" it automatically goes to the extrom..

edit: ALSO!! Does this have the new BT drivers? I find the BT Sharing folder extremely handy. as well as the new tabs in BT, like Printers, Audio, FTP etc.. Just curious

Thanks for the new rom Jeff. I very much liked your older rom and still use it. I will be giving this one a try tonight sometime.

Also, I know you're bandwidth limited, but will you also be upping the kitchen for this rom eventually? I'd like to add a few more things myself, such as the Remote Desktop back in. If not, thats fine, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks again!

The "kitchen" for this ROM is in a sticky post at the top of this forum. What you're really asking is if Kirvin will upload his "special sauce" OEM for you to drop into the ktichen.

I strongly discourage ROM builders from putting out their own "kitchen" because it just causes a lot of confusion for end users. Release your OEMs if you want, but if your ROM is based on Helmi's kitchen (which I believe they all are except Saridnour) then do not put out a "kitchen" of your own.

Not that I thought Kirvin was planning to, just wanted to make that disclaimer known in advance.
