I'm on the fence about Remote Desktop. It's so damn huge and not really needed by the majority of people. Is it really useful on such a small screen?

Suggested

Hi Jeff, I enjoyed your first rom, thanks.

The current rom you are working on looks very similar to the one I have been working on. I have been working on getting mine very customized right out of the box for my application (use at my company), including silly stuff like setting the default timezone One thing that I have done that others may or not like is put only HTC Home and Calendar+ on my Today screen it is everything I need.

Here is one tweak that I would really suggest including in your rom since you have HTC Home Plugin and HTC Audio Manager. This makes the home plugin use the audio manager instead of windows media player. It took me awhile to dig it up.

; Set HTC Audio Manager as default audio player in HTC Home
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Music Plug-In]
"MusicPlayer"=dword:2

If you wanted to look through some of the other Registry tweaks/customizations I they are in the users/murraytony/oems on the ftp site, it is pretty well commented as well.

Can't wait to see your rom to see if there is anything I should steel from it

I would like to cast a vote for Remote Desktop, it is very useful when you have no computer and NEED to remotely get to a machine. Also, it is not installable by a cab file afaik.

works great.

Initial testing

The ROM is built, not uploaded yet. At first boot, you'll have 36.32MB of storage free and 32.87MB of free RAM. No, those aren't typos. Almost 33MB of RAM free. Beat that, Mogul users!
