Thanks for the reply Jeff. Any ideas on my bluetooth issue? Does yours work, or anyone else that used Jeff's new ROM?...maybe I need to reset my headset...

VZW user here... built my own rom using kitchen last night, but not impressed by speed at all, going to give Jeff's a try tonight.
My quick question:
I really like the threaded sms, which is not included here, and vzw does mms just fine... would you see any conflicts with converting the helmi3.5 verizon carrier mods , threaded sms and mms into an extrom?
Thanks, looking forward to a somewhat snappier xv6700, and maybe with a new, non-cracked touchscreen by the end of the week

Nevermind fixed my bluetooth issue, the headset needed a charge, I can only assume it was not transmitting a strong enought signal for the phone to pick it up.

I had one issue with You Tube so far, but I think that was due to my iLock program. Unfortunatly it locked up my phone so bad I had to do a hard reset. I would suggest flashing your ROM again. Otherwise You Tube has been working fine for me..

I have a Sprint bluetooth headset, the cheap $50.00 one, is there anyway to stream music to it, or do I need to purchase a nicer model?

From what I've read in other areas of the forum (I don't have a BT headset yet), you start the music player, then push the action button on the headset.

The HTC Apps in Jeff's list from a few posts back are in the Helmi Kitchen 3.5 (see sticky devoted to it in the main HTC Apache forum)...

Good luck!

Yea, I am facing this too now. All my attachments have filled my EXTROM completly. I don't think anyone has addressed this yet (not sure perhaps), but I need a fix for this, else many of us are in bad email situations.

This ROM is indeed great one. I can't believe I was on stock 2.06 since August 2006, man I was an idiot.

I will certainly be donating to ppcgeeks!

Nevermind, I see that one just needs to rehide the extrom as per below

"After you installed all the programs that you want to install to your ExtendedRom, you have to hide the ExtendedRom as "HKLM/System/StorageManager/Profiles/TRUEFFS_DOC1/MountHidden to 1.

Then, you will not see the ExtendedRom but you can type "/Extended_ROM2" in the address bar and reach it. After you hide the ExtendedRom, the email attachment will be saved to the Storage Card"
