Li-Poly battery replacements for 6700

$10 shipped gets you one of these >>

http://cgi.ebay.com/Replacement-for-...ayphotohosting

I currently have a 2600 li-poly and it works well. The current setup of the 6700 does not allow you to maximize battery charge with these polymers so you'll be getting maybe 85-90% max charge efficiency, but the the low prices make a worthy trade off.

I've also noticed with Li-Poly batteries as opposed to the normal ones are lighter and don't heat up.

The problem is that people have reported the 1500's just barely fit with the stock battery door. If anyone knows a solution, that would be great.

lipo's are awesome. my 2600 gave me new appreciation for my phone. I got 4 days out of it one time (VERY light usage tho). I can stream sirius for hours and I am no longer SOL if I forget to charge overnight.
I've been wanting to get a slim version.

I have two 2400 LiPoly batteries for about 25 dollars I got them off of ebay. They are cheap and work very well for the price.

I've still got a Li-Ion 3300 (extended door). I streamed 6 1/2 hours of video over wi-fi when I first got it to test it out, hehe. If that dies I'll look into these.

edit: 3200 or 3300? You have the Seidio battery?

Does it make the phone *significantly* heavier?

2800, sorry. LINK. I had 3300 confused with one I was going to get for an Axim. This is a Mugen.

I can't remember where I bought it but came with a black AND a silver battery door.

Here's a google product search too which brings up a few more with different door options. It's about twice as heavy as the stock battery and makes the phone bulkier, but it still fits in my pocket fine and I like having something to hold onto.

Originally when I was looking to get a cell phone I was going to just get a cheapo phone and an Axim from dell, but went with the 6700 instead. Since I would have ended up carrying both of those around, size wasn't really an issue, hehe. It will still fit in the stock cradle with this battery attached though.
