Phoenx06 Sprint/Verizon C&S 1.0.4 ROM (UPDATED! 08/10/07

Get this! After all that great assistance you gave me TMB, the VX6700 I had received had its own issues with recognizing that a memory card was in the slot. It wasn't finding it, or if it did it took like 20 minutes...not to mention that when I navigated to the windows directory, that it took 3 minutes to open it. (Never happened on my old ones)

I called Assurion to complain or see what they could do. The woman on the phone was looking to have another shipped. Well...they didn't have another one she said, so they are sending me the VX6800.

So, now I get the upgraded version. Time to research if there's any cool add ons on here for that model for when I get it.

Congrats. I'm afraid you won't find many add-ons for the 6800 right now - I'm so spoiled with my Apache and this forum that I would hesitate if faced with the choice to upgrade.

They worked great with the original Verizon ROM. But now that I've flashed to the phoenx06 ROM (Verizon version) and also to his radio upgrade, they don't seem to work... I've got those boxes checked in the Hacks program (which was included in the ROM) but it makes no difference - wifi activation turns off phone and no option to disconnect when holding down on the network symbol. Any idea why?

I am a newbie, I installed the rom, and now I can not access my calendar & contact list/s any help will be greatfull.

Welcome to ppcgeeks. By flashing the rom, you over-wrote all your data and installed programs, etc. You need to get your contacts and appointments back by either a) Synchronizing your device with Outlook on your computer using Activesync, or b) restoring from a backup on your storage card that you conscientiously made before flashing. If you have neither Outlook nor a backup, then you are out of luck.

The "Folder" is no longer on the FTP site that is why you get "IE cannot find the page"

Ok, I have a backup, but I guess I did something wrong, my bootloader version is 1.0 is that the problem? I also can not get sync to work with my phone, what do I need to do to get the sync to work again? Thanx
