mms is not working actually...going to view pic brings up pocket ie but you cant do anything but see a little one by one pic...the problem lies within the version of pocket ie that is being used...can one from an original rom be pulled and put into place with this one?

First and foremost, a huge THANKS to Phoenx06 for making something even the ROM noob can handle. My phone totally flaked out on me this evening, so I upgraded to this ROM and so far so good. It boots so much faster now, so I'm pretty happy.

A few quick questions, if you don't mind:

- So after the upgrade and subsequent hard reset, I did the soft reset before the Sprint customizations ran and manually installed the required Sprint cabs.

- I then had this /Extended ROM2 directory at the top level, which contained all the extended cabs I could run. After running the needed Sprint cabs, I deleted the remaining contents. However, I still have the directory (said it can't be deleted). Looks like it has 10M of storage...can I save programs to it?

Thanks!
- Doug

Thanks for the efforts in compiling this. I'm a first time user and it works great - noticabally faster click response.

I am also using your radio update.

Is there a list of registry tweaks you would recomend for this version? Would it be the same type of things as people use in the stock version?

Thanks

I think he said that the necessary Sprint programs were already installed with his software, rather just run the program, hard reset, and then soft reset before the sprint installer runs.

What did you install after that? I'm guessing it may be stuff that was already there if necessary, or something not necessary?

I think you can put storage there, but it is the home of the factory software, which you may want if you ever need to go back or turn the phone in for warranty replacement, etc.

Not sure, I'm very new here.

Well, I did a soft reset installking programs and such and the contents of the Ext_ROM2 folder reappeared. Guess I don't have the ability to remove them.

OK, now for the next question: On my old ROM I had made a registry change (which I now forget) that enabled me to open the Bluetooth audio gateway by pressing the button on my BT headset. I never use VC or the Cyberon Voice Dialer, but found the ability to send GPS commands and such over the mic very useful.

I'd like to make the same registry change to this ROM...I know it's probably posted elsewhere, but believe me I've searched...I just keep getting VC-via-BT-headset-button threads and posts.

Many thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Man, this ROM is fast compated to my old AKU 2.0 setup.

Thanks again!

- Doug

Internet Access

Love the ease of setup on this Rom.
Last night I was trying to use my phone on the internet. For some reason I could only connect sporadically. Even wireless was connecting but not getting thru to websites or email. A screen popped up askinf for user name, password and domain.I didn't know what to do. Soft reset, and sam problem. Today eveything works great. Any thoughts?
