lol btw i get the build dsm error aswell. but buildos runs fine.

BuildDSM and BuildOS are not the same. BuildDSM doesn't care what other directories you have in OEM or SYS.
Yes, you can run BuildDSM on a different machine and bring the result to another. BuildDSM will run happily with any or all of the .Net flavors. BuildDSM requires "mfc80ENU.dll" and "mfc80u.dll". These are the foundation class libraries for unicode character sets. Failure to have these .dlls is the most common reason for getting the "application not configured correctly" error.

I am still new to the forum, I've been reading and learning a lot. I too get the error, and after checking I do have the two .dll files gguruusa said "mfc80ENU.dll" & "mfc80u.dll". My question is where are they supposed to be? I tried putting them in %systemroot%, %systemroot%\system, %systemroot%\system32, and in the tools directory, nothing seams to work. I just keep getting the error.... Any help would be great!
