Kolano did you try *228... did it give you the SPL unlocked thing?

As for time sync how did you set the time zone? Do you set it using a personal OEM folder or did you set using the welcome wizard, or after the fact from the Clocks and Alarms panel?

Something to try: Go to clocks & alarms, change time zone to something else. Hit ok to save. Then go back in and change to the correct time zone. Is the time now correct? If not, go back into Phone settings Time Sync section and click Update now. Does that work?

Will get to the bottom of this for sure. Just need more info from you Verizon guys

*288 seems to work fine.

I'm in the "GMT-5 Eastern" timezone, since the timezone is set to that by default I've been just leaving it be.

Setting it to an alternate timezone and then back does correct the offset problem.

I am attaching an updated Verizon extrom to this thread. Would you test it for me please ASAP? I don't want to replace it in the kitchen until I'm sure it fixes the problem. Please first delete the one in the \OEM folder and then copy this one in (it has a slightly different file name so you can't just overwrite the old one with this--you must manually delete it).

As for Palm SMS no I cannot include that in the kitchen but you can easily obtain the file yourself if you want it. Come by the chat room.

As for IM+ is there an OEM already made for it? Is it a commercial app? Give me some details and I will see about it.
uv2chill IM+ is freeware and has yahoo msg, aol msg, icq, and msn. Here are the attached oem's for both IM+ and Threaded sms. I forgot the app in the earlier post. Thanks dude. I am flashing like mad between service calls. I will try the new oem u put up and let u know how it goes.

OK mikee I deleted your attachment (downloaded it first though) because we are not allowed to host the palm sms app here. THat is why I did not include it in the kitchen.

My instructions if you want the working Palm SMS OEM are to visit the chatroom by clicking the chat link above.

I have looked into the IM+ and it is most definitely not freeware. Perhaps JBabey is using a cracked version or including a hacked registration key to get around the trial period? I dunno, but I cannot include that stuff in the kitchen. We are trying to keep our noses clean here. Feel free to include it in your own ROMs (add whatever OEMs you want to the \OEM folder) but I will not include warez in the kitchen.

@Kolano - OK let me do some investigating.

i can say that time sync works fine with radio 1.41 and Sprint. Arrows, however, do not change color regardless of theme I choose.
