ActiveSync quit working

I have no idea why, but for the last week it won't sync. It goes round and round then says it can't complete.
I uninstalled Wisbar, thinking that could be it and no luck.
I ran the trouble shooter and it says there is an error that they don't have a solution for.
Anyone either run into this or have any idea on what I can do? Wish there was a different program I could use. This sucks big time.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled AS, no go.
Help,
Thanks

Which version of AS are you running? The lastest is 4.5. One thing to try...delete the existing partnership, then try to sync. Also try soft resetting the phone.

Hi,
Running 4.5, even tried installing 4.2 and nothing.
Have deleted partnerships 5 times now, zilch.
Thanks

On your PPC go to:

StartMenu/Settings/Connections/USB to PC/

Uncheck the option for "Advanced Network Functionality"

Then make sure all sync partnerships and any outlook mail account tied to a sync partnership are deleted...

Now soft reset the phone and reboot the pc (Never Hurts to do this but it isnt needed if you are in a super hurry)

Attempt to sync the phone now...

If it works, Re-enable the "Advanced Network Functionality" option and attempt to sync again... if it works your set...

(NOTE: USB to PC will not open if wisbar advanced is running, so shut that program down before attempting this fix...)

Thanks,
That didn't work either, so I've hard reset (uggh, installing everything again by hand!) and AS came back.
Something screwed it up and I'm not sure what, but at least it's working again.
