HAVING A PROBLEM WITH EMAIL NOTIFICATION

SORRY FOR THE CAPS HAVE TO USE THEM AT WORK. BUT I CAN NOT SAVE THE NOTIFICATION FOR THE EMAIL TO RING AND VIBRATE FOR SOME ODD REASON WHEN I CHANGE IT TO RING AND VIBRATE AND GO BACK TO CHECK IT ITS BACK TO DEFAULT NOTHING. IS THERE A HACK OR SOMETHING THAT WOULD GET THIS WORKING AGAIN FOR ME?
