I upgraded my phone which had a New Zealand telecom 1.01 radio in. The new 1.41 works with telecom and solved my bluetooth and syncing problems! now i can sync my phone via bluetooth and listen through bluetooth headphones. Thanks!

No. The Phone radio is completly different from BlueTooth and syncing. Radio 1.41 is a cell radio. That could NOT have fixed it.
