Cisco IPT/Outlook Messages .wav WMP Not Work?

We're using a Cisco call manager express with an Outlook connector so I get my voicemails in Outlook mobile on the 6700 as .wav attachments. I get an error that the file type is not supported in WMP Mobile. I can get them to work in TCPMP, but it's a .wav file so should work in WMP! Anybody else have this problem?
I'm using CaptainJager's latest ROM built on Helmi's 3.5. This is an odd thing.

I think this a WMP issue, on both PC and PPC. I've seen the same issue in WMP 11 on Vista when I try to play my Vonage voicemails. VLC plays them no problem, but WMP won't.

Unity messages are wav files, but are encoded as CCITT u-Law. Mobile WMP doesn't support that codec.

Thanks. I'll just associate wav with tcpmp then. I thought a wav was a wav. Learned something new today.
