Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.1 ROM
Everything seems to have worked right up the end. It keeps hanging on "Running TPEnable.exe".
Update: It's working now - just did a soft reboot and it came right up. Last edited by blones; 03-24-2009 at 03:46 PM. |

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.1 ROM
Few questions about this FANTASTIC Rom.
![]() 1) How do you change the first splash screen from the Black Cooked HTC one back to the simple stock white Verizon Wireless one??? 2) Any way to add a GPS radio or 3G to these things??.. LOL 3) Anyway to repair a screen?, I sorta dug a rough line into the LCD from frustration with the scroll bar and pocket IE. (thank god for ICS in this 6.1 ROM and WMwifirouter) |

1. There is a software around for it. Search around, I don't remember what it's called. 2. GPS is a no go on the 6700. There is no chip in it. You need a bluetooth reciever. EVDO is the same as 3G, so if your provider has that, then you're at 3G speed. 3. Find some old screens or phones on ebay, not hard to replace. |

In that case, which is rare, revert bootloader to v2.02 with the sticky at top of fourm. Then download the v2.02 ROM. |

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.1 ROM
Ok, so now I am in trouble...
I couldn't get this Clean ROM to work, so I cooked one up the the kitchen real quick. The new ROM loaded on to the Apache fine, but now I am stuck at the initial boot screen. Now what do I do? |
