What kind of EVDO speeds are you getting? (Mine got SLOW!)

Ok, so I used to get about 550-600kbit/sec download speeds on my xv6700 over Verizon EVDO. Recently I've gone through quite a few changes with my phone (upgraded AKU, upgraded radio rom, replaced broken device) and I wanted to find out if one of those were the reason, or if VZW data network just went in the crapper. I'm also very interested in what you Sprint guys are getting too since I may be jumping ship. Ok so here's my Phone specs and My test results.

AKU: 3.5
Radio: 1.27
Provider: Verizon
Signal: EV (2 bars)

www.dslreports.com/mspeed
100K file

test1: 146 kbit/sec
test2: 92 kbit/sec
test3: 113 kbit/sec

avg: 117 kbit/sec

That sounds like EDGE speeds to me... wtf?

Try the tests in a different location (a few miles away should do)

That will tell you if its your phone, or the tower.

when my service was active, I got 800-900 KB 3 miles away from home. in home was 600+ Kb then things started getting real slow at home and had constant 1 bar at home, resulting in 300k and below. Now I use Wi-Fi with best of 1780 KB transfers.
