xv6700 drops calls

My XV6700 recently started to drop calls for no reason. Sometimes it will drop after 2 minutes sometimes it will work fine. it's getting worse. it dropped a call today after 30 seconds, then it was unresponsive for about 10 seconds and after it started working again it dropped the call after about a minute. I think I've had it with this phone, anyone recommend a good replacement that can tether, run wm6 and have bluetooth and wifi?

Thanks
Chris

Sounds like what mine did before it bit the dust. Go for the touch pro.

Re: xv6700 drops calls

sure enough, it went from dropping calls to not connecting at all even though it was showing 4 bars and now it's "no signal" I checked out the touch pro today, where's the headphone jack on it? Can I do all the same hacks to it that i did on the 6700? Can I tether without a data plan? Is there a cleanup proceedure to rid it of all the unneeded bloatware? I need a new phone fast and I guess I have to start cramming some research......
