Where is the fix for BT PAN on 3.x ROM?

I get the error "cannot connect for an unknown reason" when trying to use Internet Sharing on a 3.x rom.

I know this has been discussed countless times. I don't really want to flash again if I don't have to. After searching for a fix, I've seen posts referring to "AKU3.x_BluetoothPAN_Fix.cab", but I can't seem to locate the actual file for download. Has this been pulled because it doesn't work?

On my laptop, I'm using a Zoom BT PC card. It comes with its own software. After installing it, I can make a connection to my Sprint PPC-6700 from the laptop, but I can't get Internet Sharing to work.

Why not use the USB cable ? This will avoid some of the BT issuses and will allow the phone's battery to stay charged via the USB. This means longer web without loss of talk time.

I know I'd like to see a fix for the problem because I'd like to use Bluetooth PAN to connect to my Axim and share internet access that way. Can't do that with a cable.

And OP, I tried that file already and it doesn't help. The newer ROMs (i.e. Helmi's 3.5 R4) can successfully connect over BT PAN, but the internet sharing still doesn't work.
