The software to sync to a PC would be Microsoft's ActiveSync for XP or Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista. These can both be found at Microsoft's Windows Mobile website. Just Google "Windows Mobile".

And you can find Verizon's official ROM update at http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?p=2200 It's the link at the bottom right hand side "XV6700 Windows Mobile® 5.0 Software Update" Or you can download one of the many fine custom ROM's on PPCGeeks.com! Represent, lol |

so if i download one of the custom rom update here from ppc geeks what would the procedure be??? lol, i am so NEW at this it's like im starting a new job!!! Im here at work thinking about what I should do to my 6700... lol... anybody please help!!! thanks again guys...

However, this will work for the others too. Just search the forums, there is a vast amount of knowledge waiting for you. Also, always make sure you search before posting a question. Most of the time, your questions have already been answered.

Over the Air Wireless Sync Download
For future reference, Wireless Sync software can be downloaded over the air directly to your device by going to ota.wsync.com and selecting the correct device.
