Align Screen Problem!!!

Hi Group,

I've got a big problem - Just after I upgraded the device and reseted the phone, I cannot get out of the 'Align Screen' stage, where I tried lots of remedies (Including 1) hard rester, 2) insert a business card to clear side dust...)but all seem don't work.

I just wonder if there someone who knows why this happened, and how can I fix it? Thank you so much fro helping!

P.S The phone I got is a generic one using for testing only. Originally it installed a Chinese ROM on itself, but I like a EN OS. So I download some of ROMs from PPCGEEK's ftp and bootloaded them onto my device. Then this happened to me....

Make sure you phone is not near any magnetic devices.

Common problem with people using leather case that has Magnetic button.

Had a very similar problem with my XV6700. Turned out I had a touch screen dead spot right in the middle of the display. You can test this by creating an ink note and drawing on the screen - the ink will "skip" in a specific area.

Friendly people at Verizon sent me a replacement. Much joy.
